Dear Noble Academy Families,
Welcome to the Noble Academy 2020-2021 school year! We will begin the first quarter 100% online. Considerations to change to in-person instruction will be made in the upcoming months. Noble Academy will provide all students with a device (iPad or Chromebook depending on student grade level) to complete their online education.
The first day of school will be Monday, August 24th. We have prepared an online structure that will include live instruction as well as independent work time. The below tab is our remote learning guidelines that will provide student expectations and school day structure. It is important that your child is able to connect with their class every day to stay engaged and motivated to learn with their classmates.
Noble Academy is committed to upholding students to the highest expectations during this online learning experience. The staff has been working hard on finding the best resources and applications to amplify instruction. We will be using Seesaw for K-4 and Google Classroom for 5-8 classes. We will offer academic programs such as Lexia Reading and Freckle Math. ClassDojo and ClassCraft will be utilized to help support our students’ social-emotional learning and improve our school culture. Your child’s teacher will be reaching out to you soon to inform you about trainings for the remote learning resources.
Noble Academy will continue to stand by our Mission and Vision Statements and plan to work closely with you and your families to help reach these goals:
“We foster an environment of inquiry and a love of learning so students are prepared to thrive in STEM-focused high school, college, and the world. Our students will enter high school ready to tackle any academic challenge and will excel in the STEM subjects.”
You will be able to pick up your child’s computer and materials on August 20th and August 21st. We will be having a drive-thru style pick up so you will stay in your car and collect your important items safely.
Dear Noble Families,
I have put together a voiceover (video) of our Remote Learning plan which will answer many of your questions. This is a brief summary of the parent guideline I had shared with you last Wednesday via email and you will be receiving in the “back to school packet” as well.
