Noble Academy Honors Contestants and Winner of Concept Schools’ Parent Essay Contest
Noble Academy was proud to present the 3rd place award in the Concept Schools’ 1st Annual Parents’ Writing Contest to Bobbie Daugherty, mother of students Jihad and Maryam Daugherty.

Daugherty was presented with a check before the Noble Academy movie night on December 1st. She received 3rd place out of 312 entries submitted from 27 Concept-managed schools across the Midwest.

“Having small class sizes, the student to teacher ratio made us feel our children would be recognized as individuals with their unique academic needs fulfilled and their boundaries expanded,” Daugherty explained in her essay. “The mix of students in attendance is so vast; we have enjoyed quite a heterogeneous mix of culture and community.”

Noble Academy, a tuition free school, provides students in grades K-8 with a high-quality academic and social environment, emphasizing science, math and technology. As part of the Concept Schools family, Noble parents and students have opportunities to participate in Concept-wide programs, such as the essay contest.
