Kindergarten Fun

The Cooking Caravan came to sing fun songs with the kindergarten class. Two traveling musicians/chefs came to sing songs along with a guitar. The students got to sing a few well-known songs, were taught new songs, and even made up their own funny song about a gingerbread man. They were taught about found percussion and how make music with what you already have (clapping, tapping, stomping, etc.). It was a fun musical event!

The Zoo came to visit Kindergarten through Second grade students! Some of us had the opportunity to get up close to these awesome animals!!

Radio personality, Boxer from WCOL came to read to some of our classes. Mrs. Antis’s class even made their radio debut, and discussed the magic of  leprechauns!

On February 16, 2017 the K-2 students had the opportunity to visit SportsOhio for a day of exercise and fun. Students were assigned four stations throughout the complex and were given 20 minutes to play at each station. Activities included basketball, scooters, inflatable games, soccer, bicycle riding, ball toss, and many others. The students had a great time working together and playing sports with their friends!
