Curriculum Night

On Wednesday, January 18, the 2nd- 8th graders hosted Curriculum Night at Noble Academy. The students were the teachers in this event. Students in grades 2-5 received raffle tickets for coming and an additional one for each game they taught their parents. A drawing was done for educational door prizes at the end of the sesson. There were Reading and Math games shared. parents were taught games on the SMART Board and given take home packets to do the games at home with their students. In grades 6-8, students and parents were given the opportunity to spend some quality time together doing hands-on activities. Play-Dough was used in Mrs. Lucero’s room to represent Social Studies concepts. Mrs. de la Cruz invited families to do writing activities. Tessellations were made in Mrs. Pletcher’s class but the best part was the hallway. Mr. Faruk and Mrs. Morris had cool science experiments for everyone to try. There was even dry ice and fog!
Overall, it was a fun night and we really appreciate all parents and students who came.
