3-5 Wright Patterson Air Force Base Trip

This November, grades 3-5 had the privilege of going the the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.  This museum took the students through the evolution of air travel from the Wright Brother’s planes through spaceships of today.  They even spoke to real airmen and pilots from today!  Several students were able to practice on the flight simulators and pretend to be air traffic controllers.  The visit ended with a scavenger hung in the space exhibit where the students participated in a scavenger hunt to learn more about shuttles and the journey of space exploration today.
