Noble Columbus received “High Progress School of Honor”
Noble Academy Columbus’s hard work and commitment to children is making a difference! In may 2013, Noble was presented as the “High Progress School of Honor” by Oho Department of Education.
State Science Fair 5-11-13
On May 11th 2013, two of our 7th grade students participated in the Ohio State Level Science Fair at OSU. We want to congratulate both Ali A and Hanan O for receiving an excellent rating.
Art Show 13′
Congratulations to all of the students whom participated in our schools art show. The students listed were voted “Best of Show” from Noble, and several won awards in the Concept Schools! Way to go!

Spanish Spelling Bee
Noble students, Chaletu Mohammad (8th) and Zully Mejia-Lopez (5th), both did a great job and received rewards for participating in this years Spanish spelling bee, including a gift card! Wonderful job!
Math Counts 13′
Noble 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders prepared throughout this year to compete in the Math counts competition this year. Our hard work payed off! The results are shown below.

Our elementary overall received 1st place over the other elementary schools whom participated. Congratulations students and teachers!!
On March 22, ten Noble students traveled to Chicago to compete in the Concept Schools spelling bee. There were around 200 students competing. Our fifth grader, Mariam Mohamed, tied for first place in the 3rd-5th grade division! She was awarded with a trophy and a Target gift card. Fourth grader, Ahmed Mohamed, made it all the way to the fifth round. Also competing were Mohamed Jama, Nour Elmancy, Bilal Yusuf Fatima Bainazar, Jasmine Ramirez, Brandon Alamo, Ali Alkhalifa, and Autumn Hart. We are proud of all of you!
Three Noble students placed in the Concept Schools 2013 Writing Contest, a contest open to all of the 29 member schools of the Concept community. These students will win monetary prizes and their work will be published online as well. Congratulations to fourth grader Umm-Kulsum Ashraf whose story “The Wings of a Butterfly” placed third in the elementary division, eighth grader Hatice Yildiz whose story “Race for a Friend” won first place in the middle school division, and seventh grader Ali Alkhalifa whose story “Life of the Everyday Fly” won second place in the middle school division. Great work!
Jump Rope for Heart
Congratulations to Ava Gallo and Yousuf Amin raised the most money. Also, Bilan Yakoub and Love Akpan won jumping competitions.
